Dr. Mom on bedrest

It’s baby girl’s Birth month! FIVE years ago, she was the very reason that I started this blog! Please read (or re-read) the blog from the very beginning- from the moment my water broke at 29 weeks! ♥️

Day 1
So I go to my regular obgyn doctor’s appointment (almost 30 weeks pregnant with my second child- a baby girl!), not even sure if I should tell the doctor about the little leaking incident two nights ago. I talk to my mom right before the appointment and she tells me that my water might have broken, even if it was just a tiny trickle and that she is worried, so I decide to let the doctor know. My obgyn doctor is a rather large Indian woman who always seems ready to laugh, is very nice but also seems a bit absent minded. She does seem on top of things mind you but she also largely ignores my typical neurosis about some of the typical pregnancy issues. She is a brand new doctor which means that she has only been in practice since last year. This fact of course…
